I remembered one other college theatre experience with lighting. One of the senior voice students, Gina Carleton, was doing a show and I was helping with low-level production tasks. The lighting director, Dana Wolf, had Gina stand on a mark and she said, "Gina, your skin takes light so well."

Then she said, "Josh stand on that mark," and I went and stood on it and she said, "Josh, your skin takes light worse than anyone I've ever seen." This is probably why my theatre career didn't take off.
