The high school production of The Farnsworth Invention I saw tonight asked an important question: is it ethical to expose teenagers to the works of Aaron Sorkin? (Also, I was thinking about

Yeah, AI can make photorealistic pornography of any celebrity, living or dead, but can it make a Halloween-themed Michael McDonald parody music video? I don't think so.

Portland's famous Unipiper was spotted at the Portland ICE protest where he played his bagpipes in front of Santa, Mr. Potato Head, Garfield and more -- all while surrounded by bubbles. More on how the tone of Portland's protests has shifted:

I'll say it a thousand times -- any account of the past that only celebrates the good parts of a nation without reckoning with the bad is not what we call "history" It is propaganda, pure and simple.

ChatGPT is spitting out mostly meaningless fluff that kind of sounds like polished copy to someone whoβs not a skilled writer or editor. I admit thatβs enough to get by in a lot of email jobs, but I donβt believe you when you say ChatGPT is good at writing.

I don't get the idea that education should be about training students to use AI. What's there to train? Isn't it designed to be easy? This strikes me like being trained to use the microwave. There's probably a couple tips and tricks, but something to center your education around? No way.
