I'll come at this from a different angle and say that it doesn't have to actually hold up as a complete experience today for people to still be talking about why they loved it. And my guy here would do well to listen to people talk about the *specific things* they think Morrowind did better.

Because there are a lot of them! And they're substantial and relevant still today. You don't have to remake a game from 2003. You have to understand what design elements you left behind in 2003 that *people still want*, and how that came to happen.

So no, actually, to be honest with you, I don't really want a Morrowind remaster. I've played Morrowind dozens of times. What I would like is for TES6 to be made by people who love Morrowind and can look at strong aspects of it and say, "Hey, maybe we took a wrong turn back there somewhere."
