In all of the chaos that we are currently living though, Stonewall DFL wants take a moment to recognize those putting on conventions around the State of Minnesota. We have heard of some conventions that have upwards of 80% of first time delegates, which is amazing!

Angie Craig has no excuse for not helping with interpretation costs at DFL conventions. Small campaigns found ways to live our DFL values. I'm tired of high profile candidates who won't do it too. I'm glad Filipovich for state auditor helped too, but where are the other 3 candidates?

I’m spending half of my weekend inside volunteering at a convention. Same goes for the next few weekends. It’s not because I love conventions. It’s because I love my friends, some of whom I haven’t seen in months due to ongoing ICE activity. I’d sit inside on a sunny day for them anyday.

"Doctors diagnose based on patterns that are consistent over time, how it affects daily life, and... use treatments to reduce suffering and improve quality of life." The same is true for depression and anxiety and other diagnoses. Treatment of gender dysphoria ought to be viewed the same.

i am the chair of @sd60dfl.bsky.social, myself, our ex committee & the leadership of SD62 & SD63 have spent 100s of hrs attempting to make Feb 3 caucuses equitable by encouraging @dfl.org to prioritize nonattendee delegates sheltering in place. this is not enough. feb 3 caucuses MUST be virtual.

The @dfl.org Party not having a plan for contactless caucuses will literally distort the vote. The DFL claims to be representative of ALL communities, but Richard Carlbom's decisions, or lack thereof, prove otherwise. How is he going to prove that caucuses actually represent the will of the party?

Don’t listen to this political strategist. There are literal families who are starving, people who do not have enough for rent, businesses with eviction letters, and neighbors who are hiding. Help communities out instead and it will actually have an impact.

In all of this, he crashed out because he couldn't tell us how the money would be used to combat ICE. And the DFL party probably doesn't have a clue either. Maybe next time, don't fundraise off of people's active trauma without a clear plan for where the money is going. Do your homework, Simon.

The DFL treats its volunteers so poorly. My friends ran caucuses and city convention last year with NO support from the state party. Now this person from Arizona is shaming us for criticizing the state party as it fundraises off our trauma.

Completely agree. In-person caucuses are cruel to terrified neighbors. And offering Non-Attendee Forms as an alternative is a false option, you don't get the same opportunities to support your candidates that way.
