I can't recommend The Long Game enough for fans of domestic soccer and the USMNT alike. Leander deftly balances the hard evidence with engrossing anecdotes, making it easy to laugh *with* and *at* the program's fits and starts. A book like no other I've read on this topic. Enjoyed it quite a lot!
