Outcome of today's physio assessment: a few months of fortnightly manual therapy sessions rather than the hydrodilation I was hoping for: but they'll be in Cambridge not Huntingdon. Which was worth the 3.5 hour round trip out there today to avoid another 20 weeks of waiting list!

Been to a physio appt at Hinchingbrooke today. With the busway B bus stopping right outside the hospital I figured it would be the easiest way back home, not realising it takes nearly an hour just to get to St Ives, and then I'd forgotten about the speed limits on the busway making it slow too. Simple truth is if you’re mad about trans people then someone’s lying to you.

Matthew's school have said that in light of current forecasts they don't need to wear their blazer or tie to school at all for the rest of term (and if it gets really hot again they'll switch to PE kit). His reaction: he plans to wear the blazer anyway because it has good pockets for all his pens!

Just took my thermometer gun outside. 25.5 °C in the shade (both patio and grass), 41 in the sun (patio and top of outside weather station). 59 on the top of the black wheelie bin! Weather station itself is reading 29.5, so actually not as much affected by being in the sun as I thought!
