As the state war against transness picks up I think this is becoming more important. We need to be loud and unequivocal about the fact that being trans IS NOT a bad thing. IS NOT something to be avoid. IS NOT a medical condition to be cured. It is just a thing that some people are.

I'm bothered by the idea that "MAGA" probably, long term, won't replace "Nazi" as a shorthand for the same people. I could be wrong; we've documented everything a million more times over from both sides. Yet there still is a liberal contingent that wants to make historical nice with their heirs.

One thing I am realizing about this administration-- not just Trump, but his underlings-- is that they all think running the country is functionally the same as being able to have everything they want, all at once, immediately. There is no strategy, just naked expectation of instant gratification.

If we get it together, they are VERY vulnerable to organized resistance. And, the direct action folks are really holding it down out there already. It's time for the politicians to either catch up or cede their claim to opposition leadership.
