Ordered new washer and drying so spent all evening moving the dryer exhaust line to eliminate 5 of the 90 degree bends and at least 12 feet of pipe. Just need to fix the old hole in sheetrock before new appliances show up tomorrow.

Debating on working from laundromat tomorrow or wearing PJ's to make it through until new washing machine gets here. Old one 💩'd out and will cost almost as much to fix than a brand new one. Current one doesn't work well even when it's not broke.

Just think about the precedent this would set. A President can't get Congress to approve funds for a policy. So, they file a frivilous lawsuit against the federal government and have the DOJ settle the suit by agreeing to fund the policy Congress wouldn't approve. It's insane.

What's gutting about this is that Juniper seems to have had a family who supported and loved her, she was in a community that has been explicitly welcoming to trans people, and a man still murdered her. She was living the life so many trans people can only dream of, and it simply didn't matter.

Looking pretty roasty for Wicked Wilson bike ride in Russell, KS this weekend. Hope I can pace it well enough to get done before it's too hot.

Rode 35 miles this weekend with decent ascent & knee felt fine. Walked both dogs (boxer/mutt) about 2 miles together for the first time in months and knee felt terrible the rest of the weekend. Hate it for the dogs but they're getting shorter, individual walks as long as my knee keeps hurting.

2 of past 3 mornings my knee popped while getting out of bed. Now it hurts pretty bad and I have a hilly gravel ride next weekend. Trying to decide if I take the weekend off from riding, take it easy, or do my normal rides.

Had to listen to a coworker express his shock at not dying last week upon his first visit to NYC. Said he stayed within 2 blocks of office & refused to venture out b/c he was soooo scared. Bet you couldn't guess he's from a small, rural town and rarely travels anywhere.

For Earth Day our riding group along with about 30 others collected trash along the entire Lookout Mountain road. Great people. Great views. And a great cause. Even had a few riders stop and help out. Looking forward to riding up this challenging climb after Unbound in May.
