Proud to secure $2.25 million for Coventry to fund infrastructure projects that will reduce flooding and improve town services. This investment will lower costs for residents over time and make Coventry more livable for years to come.

Today we broke ground on RI Housing’s Omni Newark project that will deliver 52 new homes in Providence. We need to build more housing like this to bring down costs and make sure every Rhode Islander can afford a place to live.

The tax filing deadline is one week away and guess what? Instead of education and healthcare, billions of our tax dollars just got spent on the war in Iran. I am fighting to make sure that our taxes are used to make life better for Americans, not more foreign war.

Great to visit Capitol Ridge Housing in Providence and hear directly from constituents about what they are facing right now. We talked about the need to end the gridlock in Washington and do more to bring down costs.

This is horrific and wrong. Congress must reconvene to end the war immediately. The President’s enablers must wake up to the fact that he is becoming increasingly erratic and dangerous, and our country needs new leadership.

The Barrington/Warren Bike Path bridges are officially reopened! The new bridges replaced unsafe structures that closed in 2019. Excited to celebrate a new, safe path for thousands to enjoy right as the weather is getting warm! 🚲

The cybersecurity field is rapidly advancing, and we need a strong cyber workforce to keep pace. Today, we celebrated a first-of-its-kind Registered Apprenticeship Program in partnership with RIC and CCRI to equip RIers with the skills they need for good-paying jobs.

Honored to attend the grand opening of the African American Museum of Rhode Island. Rhode Island’s Black community has shaped our state in so many ways. This museum helps ensure those stories are told, preserved, and celebrated for generations to come.

The DHS shutdown is not a ‘both sides’ issue. The Senate has passed a funding bill. The White House supports it. @HouseDemocrats.bsky.social support it. House Republicans are the only reason DHS funding hasn’t passed.

Good news that Crossroads Rhode Island and other housing advocates have beaten Trump in court over the attempt to politicize funding for housing. There should not be political tests for orgs to provide affordable housing for Americans.

Illegal international fishing is bad for the environment, often uses slave labor, and undercuts the pay of Rhode Island’s fishermen. I am leading a bipartisan letter calling for more funding to crack down on bad actors who don’t play by the rules.

So he admits that he is spending our tax money on endless wars instead of childcare, Medicare and Medicaid. It doesn’t have to be this way.

West Warwick firefighters put their lives on the line to keep Rhode Islanders safe. Tonight, I spoke with them about my work to ensure they have the equipment they need to do their jobs safely, and are compensated fairly for the dangerous jobs they do.
