I often wish GenAI could be implemented non-exploitatively, b/c I see tons of kids bristling with the desire to respond in kind to the narratives they consume, & if they *could* express themselves by creating a film or videogame solo it would be really cathartic. Today I learned that stereotype and cliché have the same etymology. A stereotype was a printing plate used to produce the same design over and over. And cliché was the clicking sound caused by printing from a stereotype.
