I want to thank @lbc.co.uk and @mrjamesob.bsky.social for taking my call today on Hormuz and Kier Starmer's speech. It is important to separate the political from the practical and figure out exactly how we open Hormuz safely to safeguard the lives of seafarers not just consider the economics. #LBC

Kier Starmer just said - "The primary concern is not that of insurance but of safety" in relation to the Straits of Hormuz. If I read into this correctly - the 35 countries mentioned may underwrite transits to get oil moving - but that is only half the story. #Starmer #oilprices #geoplitics #hormuz
