i take frenzy damage every time i see someone go "well i just use it for the boring stuff". what are you TALKING about? if it's boring or unimportant, why are you putting it in? NPC dialogue is fertile ground for worldbuilding, creating verisimilitude, conveying important information, and hijinks!!

been working on this game for a couple months now, and hadn't really settled on the PC gender yet. a couple of NPCs call them "fella/fellow/lad" and that felt right but wasn't also totally locked in. then another NPC says "aren't topsail girls usually girls" and went "oh!"

We did something different with the credits for Demonschool. We used this format: name, title, lengthy description of what they did. Often you see credits in games where you don't know what the credited developer was actually responsible for. We wanted to give people proper, actual credit.
