Despite the mizzly conditions, we had a great Ipswich Labour team meeting residents across South East Ipswich today. Potholes, anti-social behaviour, the Orwell Bridge, the town centre and home education were the issues raised with me. Thank you to everyone who took the time to speak to us.

Local services matter. And when they disappear without warning, it hits hard.

I have written to Post Office Ltd urging swift action to restore services. I will continue pressing the company and working with local residents to secure the long term future of the branch.

🙋🏻‍♀️Great to meet Student Reps from Bournemouth & Poole College in Parliament yesterday. We had a great discussion about social media use and whether there should be age limits. As well as what we can do to improve Bournemouth Town Centre.

This is a moment to focus on all the good things the government are doing. To double our efforts to get the detail right, and focus on communicating the right messages to the people who matter. Green Labour is the future. But, essentially, stay united because this government is doing good work.

London is a great city. Far safer than many ; great for visitors, great for investment. Wonderful theatres, parks, museums, to name just a few things. Great people.
