Cutting-edge innovation is happening right here in the Livingston constituency. I visited CellMine at Kirkton Campus and how they’re developing technology to recover lithium from used batteries which is a key part of the UK’s clean energy future.

Today is International Workers’ Memorial Day. It is the day to remember all those people who went to work, and never came home. It honours everyone who has died simply in the course of, and as a result of, doing their job. Hundreds of people die every year in the UK because of work.
