At #PMQs yesterday, I raised the scale of the challenge facing women who live with Endometriosis accessing basic quality care. Today, I spoke to ITV about the work of the APPG to bring this issue into focus. A piece will be going out in March as part of Endometriosis Action month. Watch this space.

Today, the UK Government has announced a formal consultation on proposals to restrict social media access for under 16s across the UK, forming part of a wider effort to strengthen young people’s wellbeing and online safety.

I had a busy day in Blackburn yesterday, listening to residents and talking about what up to £20m of UK Government funding could mean for the area. Watch the video to find out more 👇

Yesterday I met with key local organisations in Blackburn for a community consultation to discuss local priorities and hear directly from those working closely with residents.

Many constituents wrote to me with their concerns regarding the initial proposals for Digital ID. I know the mandatory element was a major source of consternation, and I fed this back to Government officials last year.

In Parliament, I asked the Secretary of State for Scotland whether he agrees that yesterday’s Scottish Budget showcased 19 years of SNP failures. Watch my full question and his response ⬇️

Today I spoke in the Scottish Affairs Select Committee regarding securing Scotland's future with defence skills and jobs. I asked Warrick Malcolm from ADS Scotland & Andrew Kinniburgh from Make UK Defence about the skills gap present in Scotland's defence sector.

Today I spoke in the Scottish Affairs Select Committee regarding GB Energy and the net zero transition. I asked Alan Roseweir, Community Energy Project Lead, about the importance of sharing advice and expertise with Climate Action Networks and other community organisations.

Many constituents have been in touch raising their concerns regarding recent events in Venezuela. Last night in the House, I pressed the Foreign Secretary on this - warning that while Maduro’s regime is undeniably brutal and illegitimate, unilateral action risks sending a dangerous message
