BREAKING: Today in #Portland, on barely any notice, a massive crowd gathered downtown & heard from Oregon Governor Tina Kotek. After the rally, the crowd marched through Portland, Kotek and Mayor Wilson at the front, chanting “Show Trump what Portland looks like! This is what Portland looks like!”

A note to Portland leaders who sweep the homeless while pushing back on Trump's exclusionary policies: don't be hypocritical. Human rights are inalienable in an inclusive, pluralist society. Impoverished, unhoused, immigrant, refugee, trans, queer, BIPOC... all deserve to live w/ dignity here.
