ChatGPT and Claude are both blocked from accessing Spotify, YouTube and Apple Podcasts. They literally can't retrieve episodes of a show via search. The platforms block robots from accessing, scraping or interacting with content. ChatGPT and Spotify have an API partnership for user linking though.

I don't know what everyone's so worried about, there will be plenty of jobs in the future. For example, Waymo is paying DoorDash drivers eleven dollars to shut the doors of their cars. It's practically a Utopia.

Obviously the right thing to do is just resign from your job preemptively. Don't make the AI go out of its way to find you. Be respectful of its time.

Goldman Sachs just compared the software stocks to newspaper stocks in 2002, which would eventually lose 95% of their value by 2009. JPM and Morgan Stanley disagree. Someone's going to be right and someone will look crazy.

Something broke this week. After weeks of selling, the purge of the software stocks just went into overdrive on the announcement of Anthropic's new legal and data product. This while more than half the S&P 500 went green today. We're all over it:

I think of Uber as the most misunderstood stock in the market. Expecting 25% cash flow growth next year with the stock selling as a huge discount to the S&P 500’s earnings multiple. Everyone’s afraid of Tesla. Just dropped, let us know what you think!

We're 17 years into the crypto revolution and one of the big debates in financial services this year is whether or not credit card companies should be capped at charging 10% interest rates. It's as if this whole thing has solved absolutely nothing. If it all disappeared tomorrow, how would we know?

Last summer, the narrative around the housing market was that everything was frozen and high interest rates were fueling the affordability crisis. And it was true but too late This is why we focus on price over narratives. Today's lesson is a forever one:

Delta's CEO just forecast a 20% jump in profits for 2026 over last year. In the 4th quarter, they made more money selling first class tickets than from the entirety of the main cabin. They are playfully referring to this business as "the top of the K." This is the modern economy in a nutshell:

Pluribus had one of the strongest first seasons of any show of the 2020’s decade. Gotta be a top ten debut. Vince Gilligan curtailed his usual monotonous self-indulgence to just a handful of scenes. The rest was crackling like a fuse. Apple committed to two seasons upfront so no forced resolution.
