City Council was spicy tonight. Despite the interpersonal fireworks, this night will ultimately be remembered as a turning point in Portland’s housing crisis: 12-0 passage of Inner Eastside for All resolution and creation of the Social Housing fund.

If this is Wilson’s passion, he could get a job with Portland Solutions and leave the job of mayoring to someone else. For me, the mayor’s job is to effectively govern & administer the city. I’d argue he’s failing at this even on his own terms. He made one major campaign promise & did not deliver.
