The city can (and should) remedy this by working with @trimet.org to build out a network of bus lanes & priority cameras at intersections. The city has the authority to do this through PBOT and has mostly chosen to shirk this duty post-COVID. We gotta keep up pressure on them!

As a bus operator, police would only escalate violence on buses. Make fares free and it would eliminate most assaults.

Portland transit riders deserve better service, not policing! We've heard that the mayor wants to put cops on our buses and we say HELL NO.
