The only safe place to use LLMs is in a field where you are already skilled enough to know you would never trust AI. So you might as well not. We’ve got to start insisting on this Catch 22 being understood in all workplaces: AI only replaces workers too incompetent to notice it doesn’t work.

The brilliant Arena Williams, MP for Manurewa, describes the $$$ benefit that Winton will gain, much of it from rate/taxpayers. Us, in other words. The Hansard transcript is here too - it’s appalling stuff. Winton donated around $100k to the National Party, just as an aside.

Yet another health initiative aimed at keeping Māori and Pasifika in good health appears to have hit the cutting room floor. Māori and Pasifika 55+ are no longer eligible for the free flu vaccine in 2024. We’re waiting for an answer on why.
