I think about this a lot. I read lots of great journalists & writers, on here and elsewhere, but it's ones like Nuzzi and the people who wrote the [gagging noise] profile on her who are prospering.

The racist foreign national in question is experiencing social consequences for his actions. Why he is the focus of the story, and not the innocent people he targeted because they didn't seem white enough to him, is the question. (We know the answer.)

The only thing that's interesting about Nuzzi is the story of how an amoral careerist with no interest in policy and abysmal ethics became an acclaimed national political reporter. But rather than tell that story, the entire media seems desperate to play a part in it.
