The Barbican, Sandwich, Kent. One of two surviving medieval gates at Sandwich, seen from across the bridge over the River Stour. Originally called Davis Gate, it dates from the second half of the 15th century. There is a series of blocked gun loops at ground level.

THis is actually a really good illustration of why LLMs are just...kind of not that good at a lot of the things they're sold as being good at: The thing doesn't fucking understand or know what the question is, it's doing pattern recognition and that breaks down on a long enough timescale.

love when there’s a newspaper profile of some psychopath that points out they allow themselves “a lone vice, like a single cup of black coffee in the morning.” personally I am a bundle of trash glued together by vices. they’re all load-bearing

This is exactly how I've been feeling about the fake "self-driving" stuff for years, and the confirmed death count there is upward of 50. Elon Musk is a one man crisis of impunity that has become too big to ignore. He has to be a major political issue, or we are cooked.
