Time for me to share my dream app: An app that knows where you are and can tell you exactly how far you can travel by public transport for a certain amount of money, including the cheapest prices for an overnight stay. "If I have 15 pounds, where can I travel to today and where might I stay?"

Look companies, you seem really legit right up until instead of recognised figures or verified qualified people you've got Kate who looks like she's been on an out of body episode since 1997.

I'm a big fan of lidl tools. But my neighbour Trying to deal with the overgrown bramble and discarded furniture is more than the parkside strimmer can handle. The 10min bursts of cutting all weekend are just pissing everyone off. Get down hss bruv and rent a brush cutter, do us all a favour.

Kid's shows are all woke propaganda now, not like in the 90s when Captain Planet, The Animals of Farthing Wood and Maid Marion & Her Merry Men ruled supreme.

The problem with the NHS and the benefits systems in The UK is not the amount of people using them for their intended purpose, it's the amount of for-profit, multinational corporations who are contracted to run them, and extract billions of pounds from them in the process.

I hope some Grandad made this in his shed because he refused to buy plastic tat. It's so much better than the real toy. Bet the kid hated it and called Grandad a cheapskate though.

I think it’s interesting how conspiracy theorists think governments must work with frightening levels of efficiency to pull off intimidating levels of secrecy when the reality is it’s a wonder they can dress themselves.

I'm not one inclined to write letters to my local mp but with the news of another local taproom closing, for what i can gather nothing more than the council just don't feel like renewing the licence. I feel I may have to.

It would be helpful if more people understood renewable energy is actually an extremely disruptive technology and the reason monied interests are trying to make folks hate it is that they are the ones which will be disrupted.

I think the biggest failing of Windows is making the update process so annoying and so disruptive that there is a dangerous amount of people that would rather never get security updates then have to deal with Windows Update

Anyone spouting Britain is the "best country on earth" is deluded. We are an island museum exhibiting ill-gotten-gains of a dark imperial past. With decaying Victorian infrastructure that we can't afford to replace because ignorant & bigoted pensioners keep voting to make us poor

I've got tickets to see one of my favourite bands tomorrow night. But because I'm a middle aged man I've also done a click and collect order for earplugs and I've got a seated ticket and I've scoped out a nice craft beer pub to wait in before the gig. I've also stocked up on paracetamol.

Out on the bike today, really happy with the drivetrain rear brakes and tyres. But omg does it make the front end feel like absolute garbage. Front end next then I think it'll be great.

I'm taking the mtb project out for a test ride today. Got the brakes and drivetrain fitted on Friday. But I've decided not to use the front brake conversion. It's a bit janky, even for me. So we're currently on stock front end with callipers and new back end with hydraulic disk and new groupset.

When I got a new 3D printer a lot of people asked me if I was going to buy a bambu. I got the sovol because I had some concerns about some of the features and functionality of the bambu printers, I wouldn't want to be in the stressful situation some people are experiencing.

Your Arm Position Can Make Blood Pressure Readings Inaccurate
Blood pressure categories are based on patients who are sitting in a certain position. But not every doctor’s office takes readings that way.

MTB project big step forward today. Found a front disk brake adapter I bought ages ago and decided even though it looks a bit shady I'd give it a go, and it fits up OK. still need to get some new front forks but this means I might actually be able to get it working. Calipers and tyres ordered.

I'm not the first person to point this out, but a large amount of people don't know what horror is any more. We need a way of separating out the jump-scare, surface level stuff from the genuinely disturbing films so half the reviews aren't just teenagers saying "boring"

Where have all the paranormal tv series gone? Not the ones where a bunch of tits with night vision cameras sit in a basement and pretend they can smell a ghost. I mean the ones where you hear how Linda from Carlisle believes the spirit of her dead nan is trapped inside an orange

Thinking about what upgrades to do on my mtb next year, browsing sites for air adjustable forks... Yes the mtb I've not ridden in 4 months that doesn't have a drivetrain or brakes, of course the next step is fancy suspension.

You get 20 extra characters on Bluesky which is great because it means, when you copy your old tweets into Bluesky you can always add “THUS SPOKE THE LICH!” to the end and it will still fit.
