Something that really gets me about the state of battery development is that consumers have so many amazing battery powered devices now. Cordless stick vacuums have become very mainstream. Almost everyone is using cordless power tools, in fact lots of auto shops hardy use air tools anymore!

God damn it. Look, if someone's going to come into my mentions and accuse me of farming for likes when I criticize Democrats, it says a lot that they believe that is my motivation.

Hey guys, I'm going to touch grass now. But I'm going to leave you with this. My small p politics have been on my sleeve this entire time, and I'd to see them reflected in electoral politics.

It's a kind of crazy making sitting here where I am saying "I would like them to practice effective politics, but I think those politics need to be based in truth and values and integrity" and I'm being told this is a radical position by some.

It does feel a little weird being on the other side of the "you can't criticize the Democrats!" reaction, but so far almost all the pushback I have gotten comes responding to imagined arguments I'm not actually making or positions I don't actually have.

I used to have these knee-jerk reactions to people who were trying to get the Democrats to be better, but right now we are in primary season. I will absolutely be voting for a Democrat in the midterms. But I am not quite sure which one I'll be voting for yet.

Democrats may think they are softening the message when they say things like "Abolish Trump's ICE" but this is a mistake. The qualifier of "Trump's" shows a deflection of Dem responsibility for perpetuating this agency and funding it.

An underappreciated point which I think got forgotten from older discourse is that one of the primary reasons ice needs to be shut down and abolished is that they are indistinguishable from random vigilantes. And that is why now we must all act to protect people.

This is the coolest fucking form of solidarity I have ever seen. Bravo.
