I’m an American patriot first and foremost, which means I sincerely believe we can have a society where every type of person from every type of background can live together and work together and thrive together. That’s my ideology and it’s what I fight for.

I’ll take the F nobody wants. Badlands is one my favorite places I’ve been, and I’d love to have a few weeks to do a photography retreat in a variety of weather and light. Wide-field astrophotography landscapes would be fun.

I bought a chainsaw and cut up a small tree, while retaining my original number of limbs. I fixed my heat pump wiring, which neither the installer nor a different HVAC company got right.

Wow imagine the odds that you could train an Opus 4.6 class model in just 3 months with only $25 million and do such a good job that your model itself thinks it’s Claude Opus in the reasoning trace. There’s no other explanation for that except just being better at AI than those lazy Americans.

One implication of this is that, if you think there's some secret room behind the room, where the *real* experts gather, drop the kayfabe, and discuss the world as it truly is ... I'm sorry. There is no such thing. The idiocy & delusions you see in public go all the way to the top.

I fixed the problem (“heat pump doesn’t call for propane heat during defrost”) by actually hooking up the wire that the heat pump uses to call for heat during defrost. Too bad neither the installer nor the repair tech possessed this advanced skill.

Meet Crumb, Button, and Clover. A friend in the Bay Area found them behind a gas station. Unfortunately, she isn't able to keep them, so if she can't find someone to adopt them, they will be going to a shelter. Can you help me find them a home? They are in good health and very tame.

oh yeah, in terms of good news- I haven't seen anyone talking about this??? In short- worst case scenario of 4C warming by 2100 is no longer possible, new worst-case is 2.8C now DOES NOT MEAN we just relax- the only way we got here is through hard work- but it means THE HARD WORK IS WORKING

I'm so annoyed that I can't find an HVAC tech from the 21st century. Even young guys want to blame everything on my Ecobee (even for issues that the thermostat isn't involved in) or just doesn't want me to use my heat pump ("put it on Aux in the winter").
