I've been wondering about the whole 'get an AI to summarise it / why read a book when you can listen to a podcast? / have characters explain what they see in films and telly so people can understand without watching the screen' thing and thinking that time for things has become a rare jewel

Good future this. Business model based on idea that people want to know things but don't want to know if what they're told is correct. Make tools for automating using this unchecked information in further material to feed into the answer machine, again without humans knowing if it's right. Repeat

My alternative perspective is: Bluesky isn't your life's work. Typos are typos. The risks of post posting edits are, as acknowledged, huge and to mitigate them the actual function of edit is reduced. You might as well have a 1 minute delay on posting when the post is a draft. Embrace the typo!
