Due to his decision to put trans people in the DFL in danger by speaking with Alpha News, Nick Kruse has been banned from Stonewall DFL for the next five years. I'm proud of our board and our membership for standing by our principles and protecting each other.

In January, Zohran Mamdani took action against bankrupt landlord Pinnacle, which was responsible for over 5,000 housing violations. Thanks to his intervention, Pinnacle's new owners have forgiven millions in tenants' back rent. This is what governing for the people looks like.

Incredible line from a grand juror in the Broadview 6 case, who had just asked the prosecutors why they get "unlimited tries" to indict people they don't want to indict: "I heard this case like last week and I thought it was a crock of shit then and I still think it is."

It is the end of the school year for Minneapolis Public Schools and it is impossible to adequately express gratitude to the teachers, administrators, volunteers, families, and organizers that made school a safe haven from the onslaught of state violence that tried to consume this place.

The Minneapolis Police Department is $23 Million Over Budget. How much is due to “double dipping” by Police Officers (who are basically committing fraud). Mayor Frey isn’t providing the oversight or leadership to prevent fraud in our city. A deep investigation is needed.

This is torture. Physical for the babies and psychological for the people who love them. Palliative care is the ultimate protection of human dignity - it admits that we aren't all powerful and allows people to die in relative comfort. But they view babies and children as property, not as people 🤷🏻♀️
