I am just going to keep posting that the TX governor recently pardoned a political murderer. The dude texted "I'm going to shoot protestors", then went and shot a Black Lives Matter protester. He was convicted in a jury trial. Hard to find a more blatant example of celebrating political violence.

Feel free to continue arguing over the shooter's motives, but please understand that *it doesn't matter*. There's a organized political movement that plans to suppress, arrest, or kill its political opposition. It it seeking pretexts. Anything will do. If it's not this, it'll be something else.

We're entering the next stage of authoritarian consolidation of power: control of discourse and persecution of political enemies in pursuit of one-party rule. Things are escalating in a hurry. React accordingly. We've still got time to stop this and engage in collective action.
