Look if any of these politicians want to take on the "Epstein Class", they can just do it right now. This case has been around for 20 years now. There is tons of reporting in the public domain. Just do some shadow hearings in the House and name some names. I guarantee huge audiences.

I describe Maggie Haberman's pieces on the White House as the ChatGPT of reporting. It seems really detailed and methodical but have to be hyper vigilant that at random spots, some inclusion or exclusion is possibly designed to trick me about its implications and it is impossible to know how.

If I was a Mainer, I would be using the ample time you have between now and election day, finding someone else to get behind with character, and work with others to organize a way to vote for them en masse. This is a ranked choice state and you deserve better than having to pick between fascists.

The whole "can they win" vs. "are they good and qualified" shift in politics is very similar to the contemporary U.S. commerce shift from supply and demand to wealth extraction. No one cares if candidates, products or services are good anymore. Only whether they can win and/or generate revenue.
