As of this morning, Starbucks workers across the country are officially ON STRIKE. And we're prepared for this to become the biggest and longest ULP strike in Starbucks history. Say
#NoContractNoCoffee
with us: DON'T BUY STARBUCKS for the duration of our open-ended ULP strike! $SBUX

I have in my hands definitive evidence that my opponent has committed a world-historic evil. Evidence that, were it to be released to the public, would cause his supporters to abandon him and his entire world to crumble to dust. I therefore have no choice but to give in to every one of his demands

If there’s a problem with your ballot, your vote can still be counted. The deadline is 4:30 p.m. Nov. 24. And this election, it might matter more than in most.

Exactly. When I hear this argument, I like to reframe it in the context of *options* in our transportation system. Not everyone can cycle—true—but nor can everyone drive, walk, ride the bus, etc. which is why it’s important to design for all of these. They are not mutually exclusive!

There's gonna be daily fake AI videos of subway violence running on Fox News. I'm willing to bet they'll do a segment on NYC crime at least 3 nights a week after January 1 when they swear in Zohran.

Think about how the left told Biden, and then Kamala, that their campaign would 100% lose if they did the exact opposite of what Mamdani's would be. They literally plugged their ears and said shut the fuck up, and then she lost by doing the exact opposite, in every way on every issue, of Mamdani.

The entire right-wing propaganda machine came after Zohran Mamdani. The president and his allies came after him. Democratic leaders, by and large, did not have his back until the last minute. He still won, turning out historic numbers and inspiring young voters. His politics can win anywhere.

I’m in Renton and this person has their cat stuck down a long shaft in a crawl space and they tried the fire department, animal control, and HVAC companies and no one will help them. If you’re in Renton and can help go to the Rose Cafe and tell the woman at the register you can help.

🎙️ Y’all.
#WeekWithoutDriving
starts TODAY. And. For millions of people. It is EVERY DAY. 🎙️ For those who primarily drive ➡️ do try to 👏replace 👏 those 👏 trips - all week, a couple of days, one day. More decision-making bodies (and the driving public) need to FEEL what it’s like.

If you wrote a "Trump distances himself from project 2025" story in 2024 you are either a dupe or one of our enemies. They are cackling with laughter that the media they're now destroying enthusiastically helped them dupe the voters

anyone who says the fcc threatening to pull licenses of networks for jokes the president doesn't like is comparable to facebook taking the government's suggestion to remove posts saying bleach cures covid is not making a serious argument. they know they are being stupid and simply don't care.

I know they don't give a shit about hypocrisy but it still always just strikes me how the "free speech" crowd is totally chill with the government straight up getting a show cancelled and publicly demanding an apology and bribe. But we all know they just want free speech to say slurs.

I do not have confidence in "our technology is totally profitable on any reasonable timescale" when the answer to "how do we afford it" is "we turn the solar system into computronium and use the entire sun as an energy source for it" even if it were possible without breaking the laws of physics.
