Everyone’s gotta collectively meaner the more Trump is normalized in political culture and society, but I’m happy to be mean to fascists, because they deserve it.

It's sad, but you will quickly find that some people are just the natural enemies of Liberty, and you need to deal with them. Sometimes the Vendée needs to be put to the torch, and there's no way to avoid it.

I will use my vote and political activism to do things that will save their lives and livelihoods because I care more about helping the vulnerable than punishing the people responsible for it. I'll just be mean to them on the internet in the meantime.

I don't like the person that the Trump era has turned me into politically but ultimately I'm still doing a lot less harm than any of the people I hate so I guess I can cling to that.

Another pretty big move down in Trump's net approval today. He hits a new low (again) of -6.7 after pulling in net negative numbers from even his most friendly pollsters. Disapprove: 51.6% Approve: 44.9%

there are not 20 million undocumented people in the US total, certainly not 20 million just from the preceding four years. nobody actually believes this, including Vance, but nonetheless they want to deport >20m people

Gonna hide this post because the quote tweets are incredibly annoying. But these are likely not “accurate” in any real sense. There snap shots, not the same respondents. They largely show the same thing, he’s unpopular except gen x. thats more important than trying to examine of gen z opinion.

Boomers trying to repent before it’s all over. Gen X facing down their mortality, not liking what they see, and making the rest of us pay for it. Millennials embraced nihilism decades ago, and never looked back. Social media rotted Gen Z’s brains.

Trump is obviously different than Ron Paul was. RP truly sucked but in ways you could put in a suit. Trump basically tells everyone that he's awful and that he hates you but I'm just saying these wild swings in gen Z support make total sense to me.

you can "gen Z is more right wing than millenials" all you want but as a 20-year-old I thought Ron Paul was cool because I wanted to break everything but I was pro-immigration, pro-taxes, and pro-LGBT (though I hadn't come out yet). I was also one other thing: a complete moron

Everyone is rightly shitting on Gen X here but that oct/nov spike from the Zoomers is really funny because it’s entirely attributable to them being too young to remember his 2016 campaign. Harris camp failed miserably by not promoting the “grab her by the pussy” tape in their attack ads.

All that, and a fucked education career. (Again, pandemic.) But I think a lack of literacy, a lack of connection over history, and a general lack of American care for anyone but themselves is all mixed in there to. (5/5)
