At Govan Church, the church on the cliff. Legend said that saint Govan was escaping pirates and a cleft opened for him to hide in, and closed behind him until the enemy was gone. He then stayed and worshipped there. One of my favourite place we visited in South Wales.

Athgreany Stone Circle in Co. Wicklow is one of the most important in Ireland, with a sacred hawthorn part of the circle. Although the fairy tree is a community place of worship, access is currently denied to this National Monument. Will @opwireland.bsky.social explain why? #StandingStoneSunday
