Although all the old fields have been made into one, the old field area (about 7 acres) I've been searching today has now produced 25 hammered. 16 of those are of Henry III, 12 cut half, 4 full pennys. This one dates c. 1248-1250 Minted by Henry of London

I don't have a bucket list as such, but I would quite like to find a good coin of William & Mary. Of the six I have found, this halfpenny is the best so far. This one is dated 1694.

I wonder what medieval man would think of me finding, and collecting his coin? A Labourer probably earnt 2d a day. For a penny you could buy 2ld of cheese, or a gallon of ale. (D stands for penny, it was derived from the Roman Denarius)
