A very brisk trip to Lyme Regis this afternoon. The hagstone is one of many that are easy to find on the beach there. The stone steps are known as Granny’s Teeth and are traditionally said to be the location in Jane Austen’s ‘Persuasion’ where Louisa Musgrove falls down something similar
