Today is #WorldLymphedemaDay, an opportunity to raise awareness of this painful and often debilitating condition that impacts 1 million+ Americans. Since 2014, I’ve proudly marked the occasion in the New York State Assembly as researchers continue to work toward a cure.

No family can get by on less than $15 per day, but NY’s severely outdated cash assistance allowances have left families without a choice. New York State must fund tools to end child poverty in our budget, including the Working Families Tax Credit & my bills to increase cash assistance grants.
