UPDATE: Following a one-day picket of their production of a promo for Disney Channel’s Wizards Beyond Waverly Place, Riverstreet Productions Inc. today signed a union contract. The company did the right thing and is NOW providing industry standard wages and benefits for their 25-person crew.

🚨 Breaking: Shame on Riverstreet Productions Inc. While producing a promo for Disney Channel’s Wizards Beyond Waverly Place, the company replaced the union crew instead of agreeing to a fair contract. The 25-person IA crew is currently picketing in front of BLT Studios and Soundstages in Hollywood.

On Sept 19, Int’l VP Carlos Cota rallied members at LA City Hall before a historic vote. Thanks to LA City Council, Int’l VPs Michael Miller & Carlos Cota, the CA IATSE Council, and members for winning the $2.6B LA Convention Center expansion, creating union jobs.
