It was an honor to attend the Florida State Association of Letter Carriers annual state convention and dinner. From prescription drugs to college acceptances to monthly bills, our letter carriers ensure the safe delivery of our most important documents.

We met with our Healthcare Advisory Board to discuss healthcare bills in the E&C Committee, NIH funding, and the destructive impacts of the #BigUglyLaw on Obamacare, KidCare, Medicaid, SNAP, and more. We are working closely to monitor impacts on critical health services.

Visited the @nemours.bsky.social Children's Lab to learn more about their innovative research using the Zika Virus to combat pediatric cancer. With over 106k local children under the age of 19 at risk of losing their KidCare (Medicaid) benefits, we must continue to fight for these brave children.

Met with several unions in Central Florida, including Ironworkers Local 808, UA Local 803, the TCU Local 1908, & the IUPAT Local 1010/DC78 to discuss challenges they face. We will continue to fight for major jobs projects, collective bargaining, and apprenticeships.
