A report that's gone under the radar suggests that trans people make up 1% of people living in safe accommodation after experiencing domestic violence, despite best estimates that 0.5% of UK population is trans. Realistically this will be an undercount, bc many trans people won't disclose.

1/ I believe the the Equal Treatment Bench book is both discriminatory under EA 2010 (notwithstanding FWS) and under HRA 1999/ ECHR. The 2024 update was pretty awful, but the May 2025 update completely takes away all dignity from trans people.

Also from same source, there were <5 complaints involving suitability of gender affirming care in some years and none in other years. The most in any year was 8 and that was after the media started printing scare stories.
