A group of ID clinical researchers passionate about clinical research and evidence appraisal has just launched the CLARITY initiative (clarityinitiative.org), which aims to improve the generation and interpretation of evidence in ID and Microbiology.

Prasad is exhibit A of Twitter brain. Someone needs to do a detailed case report tracking his decline from reasonable skeptic of high price oncology drugs with questionable outcomes to COVID mask skeptic to full on vaccine skeptic. It was all in plain site on Twitter, and a hell of thing to see.

Remember when Vinay Prasad was demanding impossibly high standards of evidence for things like masks and vaccines? But now he accepts the absolute lowest standards of evidence (VAERS observations) to attack vaccines. Interesting, no? It's almost like it was never about evidence.

Prasad says FDA will state that "COVID-19 vaccines have killed American children," which he calls a "profound revelation." He directs FDA staff who disagree to resign. He offers no research data & doesn't submit it to peer review. Science is transparent, it is testable. This is not science
