Immigrants with work permits are vital to our economy—in health care, agriculture, education, and beyond. The Trump Administration ended automatic renewals for these workers, forcing thousands out of jobs while USCIS drowns in backlogs. It's totally ridiculous—and needlessly cruel.

When you live in the wealthiest country in the world, feeding people shouldn’t be a political struggle. It should be a basic right.

There’s $5 billion sitting in SNAP reserves right now. The money’s there. The Administration just decided feeding families matters less than bailing out Argentina.

State officials are starting to detect PFAS in wildlife—including deer + turkeys—in some parts of Maine. For many Mainers, hunting is a way of life. So this is a big deal. Not just as an indicator of how bad the PFAS crisis is getting, but for the people who rely on hunting to keep food costs down.

Trump's USDA says it can’t disburse SNAP benefits on November 1 because of the shutdown. SNAP is an entitlement program. They could *easily* find the $8 billion. Meanwhile, they’re sending $40 BILLION to bail out Argentina, screwing American farmers in the process. It’s bullshit—and they know it.
