Every time I talk about Canada Post, people bring up how it shouldn't be required to make a profit. And that's true. But it could make a profit or at least break even. Choices have been intentionally made, over and over, to preclude that possibility. It's important to point out how rigged it all is.

The Liberals clearly want Canada Post to shrivel so private corps can take its place, that's why they won't replace the CEO who's overseen its nosedive over the last 7 years. But they can't actually let it die, so instead they have to keep doing this. It's a great system for losing public money.
