The House DFL is united — we are committed to getting weapons of war off of our streets. The question now is this: are GOP lawmakers willing to meet the moment and work with us to take strong action on gun violence?

Health care premiums are skyrocketing thanks to Donald Trump and the GOP. It's time for Congressional Republicans to fix the mess they made so farmers, small business owners, and families can afford health care they count on.

Republicans created a healthcare crisis that's about to force higher premiums onto 90,000 Minnesotans. They could fix it TODAY, but apparently they'd rather let the government shut down and ask you to foot the bill. It's unacceptable.

WOW: The Trump Administration is revoking a $1.9 million mental health grant for Rochester Public Schools, because it doesn’t “reflect the Administration’s priorities and policy preferences.” Our students need support, not cruel obstacles to getting the help they need.

GREAT NEWS: Thanks to bold action from DFLers, Minnesota schools served 151 million free school meals to students across the state last year. Here in Minnesota, we're working to feed kids and help families save money. It's really that simple.

You can add "lower prices" to the ever-growing list of Donald Trump's lies. Thanks to the GOP's disastrous economic policies, Minnesotans are getting stuck with higher prices in every aisle of the grocery store.

This Labor Day, let's be grateful for all the Minnesota workers who have fought, struggled, and organized for better conditions, fairer treatment, higher pay, stronger benefits, and safer workplaces. We're proud as hell to live in a state where workers’ voices matter.

Everyday people deserve to be safe doing everyday things. People who say there's nothing else we can do are wrong. There IS more we can do. And we will.

As Rep. Emma Greenman said on CNN: we cannot become numb to this, and we cannot say there's nothing we can do. We owe it to all the victims of the past, to the kids and families of Annunciation, and to future generations who deserve better.

We cannot accept a world where people face the threat of gun violence as they go about their daily lives. The Minneapolis Delegation of the Minnesota House of Representatives issued this statement on today’s tragedy at Annunciation Catholic School:
