This is the most foreign my bedroom has ever felt to me. I keep staring at the fast empty center of the room, since I swapped the queen bed for a twin in the corner.

BY THE WAY If you've updated to Windows 11 recently, you're probably on version 25H2. There's a new setting in Settings: Privacy & Security. Scroll aaaaaaaalll the way to the bottom and you'll see "Text and Image Generation." TURN IT OFF.

Attention friends! As a Cyber Sec Specialist, I feel a need to share this. If you receive an email from Ao3, alerting you to a password reset attempt, DO NOT click on the links! This is a scam to get you to provide your current password. Absolutely terrible. Safe cyber smart!

After such a long and expensive kitten season, we are a little depleted and looking at a massive bill to get these kittens home to the little girls that love them so much. Times are so hard right now and we know everyone needs additional help, but if you can, please donate at

With SNAP/EBT cuts looming I highly recommend downloading this app! Basically restaurants and other food businesses will have available bags of random food they don’t wanna waste for ppl to buy for hella cheap! This has saved me sooooo many times when I only have $5 and need some food.

Wild idea. I think consumers should be able to opt out of sharing an electric grid with data centers. I had the choice to pay a little extra on my bill to use clean energy years ago. I opted in, and the difference was minimal. Yet I wasn't given any choice about propping up a water guzzling Ai mill

Currently at: — only buy tech too old to have AI built in — painstakingly disable AI every time they add it to something that used to work perfectly well — if it can't be switched off, abandon the platform or tool — if there are no good alternatives, avoid the AI parts — patiently wait for the crash

This is the biggest attack on free speech since the McCarthy era but it also has significantly less popular consensus behind it than the second Red Scare. It's being done on behalf of a minority faction led by the most unpopular president in modern history. Organizing against this can win.

In case anyone wants to turn off the auto hiding of posts/users labeled "rude" (a label for which Bluesky offers no insight as to how one receives it amd is being more and more applied to people in an obviously abusive fashion). Some of your favs may disappear from your feed because of this label.
