Book of Boba Fett is so wild. I would love an oral history of how they basically bailed on their show halfway through to just do more Mandalorian stuff. And the twist is that Mandalorian clearly started out as a Boba Fett show!

It amuses me greatly to imagine people queuing up Mando S3E1 having skipped or bailed on Book of Boba Fett (an eminently reasonable thing to have done in either case) and thinking, "Wait, didn't Baby Yoda go off with Hall of Presidents Luke Skywalker at the end of the last season?"

I keep wondering if many of the issues people have with this show would've disappeared, had it been called THE MANDALORIAN: THE BOOK OF BOBA FETT. Because that's what it always was. Not a separate series with its own style, crew and renewal prospects, but just another season of The Mandalorian.

The very silly thing about THE MANDALORIAN is that a huge part of the character's arc is embedded in the second half of THE BOOK OF BOBA FETT, information that anecdotally I think is news to a *lot* of people. (Honestly, it's some of my favorite Mando stuff. He burns his leg on the Darksaber!)

Yesterday my car stayed in the garage while I spent a few hours in a Korean day spa, enjoyed the splendor of the kite festival in LA State Historic Park, and saw a great comedy show (Guy Branum's BE FRUITFUL) at the Elysium. I also got a ton of reading done. Zero complaints.
