I don't know who needs to hear this but if you're only "fine" when everyone in your life walks on eggshells around you you're not fine.

The top notch organizing in Minneapolis and the Twin Cities Metro to defend our neighbors has shown to be effective at derailing abduction attempts. It has also shown that some of you didn't have neighborhood group texts before now. I'm sure your potluck attendance will improve after we win.

Before I came, I asked a local friend if the cold (it's going to be -20 or so in the coming days) would stop people from coming out. "No, we'll be there. It's ICE who can't handle it."

A lot of non-Minnesotans are asking how they can help people in the Twin Cities. Here's a very easy way that will cost you absolutely nothing. Do not vent in the replies to videos or other posts from Minnesotans. We're all on edge, and your rageposting and doomposting isn't what we need right now.

Thanks to Rep. Koegel, Sen. Dibble and Rep. Jones for speaking the truth that the budget is being unfairly balanced on the backs of transit riders (and the future transit system we should be building), while road funding is protected.

After a powerful day of organizing, the Ward 10 Convention ended with us in first place with 52% of the delegates. This win is a testament to our transformative work together over the last 4 years and the power of our vision of a city where everyone has what they need to thrive.

Having served on a Community Advisory Committee, I think a lot about how we need parks to be a third space for everyone in the community. Too many want parks to be an extension or their backyard and not something for visitors outside the city or even the neighborhood to enjoy.

NEW — OMB temporarily pauses all agency grants and loans programs. Per copy of memo: "The use of Federal resources to advance Marxist equity, transgenderism, and green new deal social engineering policies is a waste of taxpayer dollars that does not improve the day-to-day lives of those we serve."

The years between 2020 and now feel like a long sleep from which I'm just now waking up. I can't say I want those years back, but I have so much to do. My life is fine, but I'm impatient.

Instead of being suspicious of a joint Jacob-Ilhan endorsement, maybe consider the political wizardry it took to make that happen, because y’all know those two don’t like each other AT ALL.

It was insane four years ago too. And I worried about every little thing he did. Some of it happened, yes, but some of it didn’t. We can’t keep doing this again or we are not going to make it outta here with our sanity.

I have a different take on DoorDash discourse. Because DoorDash strangled my beloved TacoCat’s business model, I should be allowed to throw members of their CSuite into the River.

Let’s be clear: cycling is the tool, not the goal. By changing how we move, we can change how cities work; allowing everyone to use public space on their own terms, without feeling excluded. Whether they're an 8-year-old or an 80-year-old, we can make them feel welcome. WATCH:
