I feel like with the narrow questions of moderation and the bigger, broader questions of ownership and operation, there is a techno-solutionist, sometimes libertarian vibe that over-confidently presents Bluesky as technologically immune to the problems of traditional social media.

Bluesky is not billionaire proof, and I wish they'd stop saying that it is. It turns out that it is exceedingly easy for a billionaire to seriously exploit a large, busy social media community of highly engaged progressives and professionals, and "federation" alone won't fix this.

I like the idea of an "Internet of Consent", but also I think that goes hand-in-hand with the consent of an "Intentional Internet/Web".
