Cortex Prime is hands-down the coolest thing I've encountered in TTRPG land. Less a game and more a framework for making your own games. A hacker's SRD. I can't wait to see what finds the light of day now that there is (finally!) a path to publish indie games and related content.

One reflection from web standards land is that standards do not begin by collecting stakeholders in a room to hash things out. There is always a first mover who proposes something that has demonstrated traction (criteria for judging traction may vary).
