it took me a minute, but i did NOT use the @userandagents.org account with @marque.at when transferring userandagents.org dns-based atproto accounts using atproto to manage dns accounts seems perfectly setup for some kinda self own.

@marque.at the domain transfer didn't pull in any of the records, is that expected?

@marque.at this is pretty hot, but sad no @leaflet.pub. would be sweet if you had a lexicon that services could write, for service discovery + config. would be like the mdns... of dns. you'd need to verify, but everything is automate-able. ohhh, better: let users discover->verify->trigger.

almost all the Ko-fi donations i do are for things given freely so could easily be considered non-profit and hosted through a fiscal sponsor like OpenCollective, which would make the donation tax deductible. being "non-profit" has been made to be scary and complicated, when it really shouldn't be.

What are folks thoughts around ATProto native CA chains. Do we think that sounds logical? Forming chains between DID:PLCs via badge.blue sigs or something similar? Is this type of thing happening anywhere anyone knows of?

this is what not being HTTP-locked means. this is why i got hooked on the idea of a transport-agnostic web even before i left Mozilla. atproto isn't perfect, but it's a good part of the way there, and at the right time.
