\\ step 4 - texturing \\ even though i now have 3 separate models combined, they have to share the same texture file. additionally, i'm using an unsupported palette, so the image out of picoCAD isn't wholly representative of the actual texture. #lowpoly #picocad #3dmodeling #texturing #pixelart

\\ step 3 - background modeling \\ at this point, combining the background model w/ the previous mech model breaks picoCAD, so work becomes a bit siloed between each part (legs, body, background).

\\ step 2 - initial modeling \\ i use 2 different programs during this phase, picoCAD and the picoCAD toolkit (by jordanfb on Github). once i get close to the file size limit w/ a vanilla picoCAD model, i'll start a separate model (to be merged via the toolkit) main mech body:

\\ aforementioned process thread \\ i make loops first, until one kick-starts an idea for a model/scene. here are two from this weekend that give me some ideas for next steps. i use a EP–133 K.O. II (stock sounds) and record into Reaper.
