I'm not a "no hydrogen, ever," person. It's really important for steelmaking (or, iron rather) but gosh it sure gets a lot of hype and the industrial sector too often ends up as an island for misfit climate solutions.

Contrary to a lot of common thought, there are not a ton of great uses for hydrogen in the industrial sector. In just about every instance, direct electrification is a better fit. This is expecially true in California, which does not have primary steel or fertilizer manufacturing.
