I increasingly think that the best interviewer on the Today roster is Jonny Diamond. He's polite, he doesn't sneer, he lets his interviewers speak in whole sentences - and the results are actually *much* more revealing & much more probing than the "bring me my machete" approach of some colleagues.

I see that Nick Robinson is interviewing himself again this morning, with Luke Pollard managing the occasional word in between. It's hard to see the point of an interview when the person nominally being interviewed can never finish a sentence.
